When someone you care for is dying, you are in the presence of Grace. And you can help to make the dying person’s transition a peaceful and loving one. Many family members or loved ones are overwhelmed at this time, but there are ways that you can support the person who is in transition.
The medical profession, and hospice can help in many ways to keep the dying person comfortable and out of physical pain. But sometimes there is pain that is not physical, and these systems do not really teach about “how” to die.
To that end, I offer services locally ranging from organizing guidebooks for those who choose a conscious transition, to home funerals and green burials. I also offer bereavement support, and I officiate memorial services.
I also offer a non-denominational, online course to help caregivers, or those who are themselves dying, look at the deathing process, and use tools and techniques to ensure a good death, however that is defined by the dying person.
